Aryna Sabalenka
Sabalenka was born in Belarus in Minsk. Sergey was a hockey player. Aryna Sabalenka was born on 5 May 1998 in Minsk Belarus. The 12 WTA singles victories include one Grand Slam, the 2023 Australian Open. Additionally, she's a fantastic doubles player. She has won two other Majors in this area, including the US Open 2019 and the Australian Open 2021 won both by Elise Mertens. Alongside the Belgian tennis star, she also won the WTA 1000 in Indian Wells as well as Miami in 2019 thus making an appearance in the Sunshine Double. Four women's teams have achieved this achievement. Only four couples that achieved this feat during women's doubles. In doubles however she pushed her way to the top at the beginning of February that year after the victory in Melbourne being the first tennis player from Belarus to make it in this specialty. Dmitry Tursunov, a former Russian tennis player, was her coach her throughout through the season of 2018 until close of her 2020 campaign. Dieter Kindlmann was her coach for a short time from August 2020 to September. Antonio Dubrov is her coach as of the beginning of 2020. Serena Williams and Maria Sharapova were her idols.
